Each year the Harper College Educational Foundation hosts receptions celebrating all that its vibrant donor community makes possible. Donors supporting Harper over the past year are invited to one of 3 events: Harper employee donors are celebrated in March during the annual We Are Harper Employee Campaign; Harper Retiree donors are treated to a VIP gathering during Harper HEART Day in April; and alumni and community members are invited to our signature Interactive Tour events--part reception, part hands-on learning, and uniquely Harper. Harper HEART Day is Harper College's official day of giving. It spans 36 hours on April 17 and 18, 2024. The day features on-campus and virtual activities for Harper students, employees, retirees, and alumni in addition to its robust giving campaign.
Harper HEART Day sponsors motivate giving by providing challenge donations to one
or more of these Harper constituencies. Not only does challenging giving inspire others
to give, it demonstrates the sponsors' commitment to strengthening our community through
education. Challenges are determined in collaboration with Harper College Educational
Foundation staff (e.g., dollar-for-dollar matching donation, additional donation based
on number of participants, additional award to top fundraising student organization),
and provide an exciting way to interact with our diverse Harper College community
over 100,000+ individuals. Learn more
