Harper College will be closed on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Monday, Jan. 17. Remote instruction will be extended through the first two weeks of the semester. On-campus offices are closed and student services are being provided virtually through January 29. In-person classes and services will resume January 31. Internships are intended to be a learning experience that combines classroom knowledge and work experience. These learning experiences allow students the opportunity to become more qualified as a future employee in the student's area of study.

To be eligible for an internship, students must: 

  • Be a current Harper College student enrolled in credit courses
  • Complete at least one academic college semester at Harper College
  • Be in good academic standing with a GPA of 2.0 or greater 
  • Be legally eligible to work in the United States
