VOICE
VOICE is open to all employees. It serves as a support network for the immigrant employees
at Harper College and works to increase visibility of Harper immigrant employees by
offering a space where they can share their experiences on the Harper campus.
GOALS:
- To support immigrant staff and faculty at Harper College.
- To find ways to mitigate negative experiences that immigrant faculty, staff and administrators
may encounter at Harper and in the community.
- To discuss cultural belonging at Harper College.
- To raise awareness of the various perspectives that make up the Harper community,
and to understand not only differences, but also similarities between cultural groups.
- To have the opportunity to share information about our cultures with colleagues.
