VOICE

VOICE is open to all employees. It serves as a support network for the immigrant employees at Harper College and works to increase visibility of Harper immigrant employees by offering a space where they can share their experiences on the Harper campus.

GOALS:

To support immigrant staff and faculty at Harper College.
To find ways to mitigate negative experiences that immigrant faculty, staff and administrators may encounter at Harper and in the community.
To discuss cultural belonging at Harper College.
To raise awareness of the various perspectives that make up the Harper community, and to understand not only differences, but also similarities between cultural groups.
To have the opportunity to share information about our cultures with colleagues.
