Supply Chain Management is a rapidly growing field that plays a critical role in nearly every industry involved in delivering goods and services to customers. Employers are increasingly turning to apprenticeships as an effective strategy to attract, train, and retain talent while reducing recruitment costs.
Managing a supply chain requires knowledge and skills in a variety of areas, including purchasing and procurement, inventory management, warehouse operations, transportation and logistics, customer service, and demand planning.
The Supply Chain Management/Logistics Apprenticeship is a registered apprenticeship program with the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) that can be completed as either a certificate or an Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree pathway. The certificate is stackable, allowing apprentices to continue their education and earn an associate degree. Courses are offered in a hybrid or fully online format to accommodate working professionals.
Throughout the program, apprentices receive structured on-the-job training and are paired with a dedicated workplace mentor who provides guidance and support.
Upon completion, apprentices will have earned:
A Certificate or Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree in Supply Chain Management
A nationally recognized Certificate of Completion from the U.S. Department of Labor
At least two years of paid, hands-on work experience in the field
This earn-and-learn model prepares apprentices for long-term career success while helping employers develop a highly skilled workforce.
Supply Chain Management professionals plan, direct or coordinate purchasing, warehousing, distribution, forecasting, customer service, or planning services; Manage logistics systems and direct daily operations.
