Winter Well-Being Duo Challenge

Monday, January 26 through Sunday, March 8

Warm up your winter with connection, resilience, and a little friendly competition! This 6-week self-care adventure is where wellness meets hot chocolate vibes. Whether you're remote, on campus, or hybrid, you can participate anywhere. You and your teammate will boost your physical activity, take on weekly mental-health and recreational–focused challenges and support each other. Stay motivated through the winter season while tracking your activities and earning points through the Wellable app. Movement can be tracked through a variety of wearable devices and mobile apps. No partner? No worries! We can pair you up with someone if needed!

Top reasons to join the challenge:

  • Even the most motivated people still need a little nudge in the right direction every now and then.
  • Social interactions have an overwhelmingly positive effect on physical and emotional well-being.
  • Behaviors are influenced by the people surrounding an individual.
  • Associate with people whose values and habits support a healthy lifestyle.
  • Having a partner to shovel through well-being habits can make success easier…and much more fun.

Since healthy habits can be contagious, this challenge has participants use the power of partnership to take their health to the next level and compete against other teams of two. Individuals and teams will be awarded throughout and after the completion of 6 weeks...so get ready to get toasty this winter by moving and grooving with your partner! The top 6 teams will be invited to a celebration lunch and the top 3 winners will earn a prize and trophy.

Please note: A Health and Recreation Center membership is not required in order to participate in the challenge.
