The Financial Flight Plan is Harper College’s financial wellness program designed to help students build lifelong money management skills and reduce the stress that often comes with personal finances. Whether you're just starting to think about paying for college, trying to build credit, or preparing for life after graduation, this program offers practical tools, workshops, and one-on-one support to help you plan and succeed.
All students are welcome to participate. The program is flexible, inclusive, and built to support your academic success and personal goals.
To complete the Financial Flight Plan during the semester, students must:
Upon completion, students will receive a Financial Wellness Certificate of Completion and may be eligible for additional incentives and support services.
Throughout the semester, our workshops and online resources will explore a wide range of real-life financial topics, including:
Interactive, in-person workshops are held throughout the semester. Each session is designed to build your knowledge around essential financial topics in an engaging, student-centered format. Many workshops include practical tools, activities, and opportunities to ask questions and apply what you learn.
Space is limited and registration is required. Check back regularly for new workshop topics and dates.
If you prefer flexible, self-paced options, we offer online modules and resources covering budgeting, saving, loans, identity theft, credit cards, and more. These are great tools to reinforce workshop content or to complete your program requirements independently.
