Occupational Wellness
Occupational wellness is the ability to receive personal fulfillment, purpose and
satisfaction from our jobs or our chosen career fields while still maintaining a sense
of balance in our lives. Our desire to contribute in our careers and to make a positive
impact on the organizations and communities we work in lends itself to occupational
wellness. Sure, a paycheck is an important part of a job. However, occupational wellness
focuses on our ability to find meaning in our jobs and knowing that we are making
a difference in the world.
