Current Majors and Programs

Criminal Justice (BA)

Unfortunately, as of Fall 2026, Roosevelt will no longer be offering the Criminal Justice Program through the University Center.  We are working hard to find another school to replace the program with, as we understand there is demand for the program. We recommend continuing to earn either your AA, AS, or AAS in Law Enforcement and Justice Administration for the easiest chance to transfer into a new program.

Elementary Education (BA)

  • Become a licensed teacher in grades 1 through 6.
  • Receive individualized coaching as you complete intensive field and clinical experiences.
  • Explore curricular connections between reading and social studies, math and science.
  • Earn valuable ESL/bilingual, LBS 1 and reading endorsements in addition to your teaching license.

  • 2.7 GPA

Roosevelt’s graphic design program teaches you the skills needed to create visual concepts and to communicate ideas. While using cutting-edge software, you will study web, video, print, photography and digital animation as you prepare for success in this competitive industry. You will also learn to communicate visually and verbally by using an aesthetic perspective, developed through the study of design history and theory. Upon completion, you will be equipped with the knowledge necessary for effective visual presentation of verbal, photographic and graphic information.  

Admission Requirements

  • 2.0 GPA
  • Completion of Associate in Applied Science in Graphic Arts Technology OR Associate in Arts
  • Completion of:

    • MCM 120

Health Science Administration (BA)

Unfortunately, as of Fall 2026, Roosevelt will no longer be offering the HSA program through the University Center.  We are working hard to find another school to replace the program with, as we understand there is demand for the program. We recommend continuing to earn either your AA (with science coursework), AS, or AAS in a Healthcare Career for the easiest chance to transfer into a new program.

The human resource management major at Roosevelt is unique given our small class sizes, student-focused faculty and real-world curriculum that prepare you for the demands of today's fast-changing HR landscape. Learn the theory and the real-world skills necessary to be a successful HR professional. You will get a hands-on education that uses real-world cases, projects, and experiential exercises to simulate precisely the types of activities you will do as a future HR professional, so you’ll be well-prepared for the demands of the profession upon graduation.
