Roosevelt’s graphic design program teaches you the skills needed to create visual
concepts and to communicate ideas. While using cutting-edge software, you will study
web, video, print, photography and digital animation as you prepare for success in
this competitive industry. You will also learn to communicate visually and verbally
by using an aesthetic perspective, developed through the study of design history and
theory. Upon completion, you will be equipped with the knowledge necessary for effective
visual presentation of verbal, photographic and graphic information.

Completion of Associate in Applied Science in Graphic Arts Technology OR Associate in Arts
Students should take GRA 103, GRA 112, GRA 130, and MCM 120 before starting in Roosevelt's
Graphic Design program.

and organization of health care and medical laboratory settings.

service delivery or laboratory science fields.
Prepared for a successful career in administration, lab science management or technology,
as well as for graduate study in public health, health care administration or health

A majority of the courses in this program are held on site at the Harper College University
Center. A portion will be held online.

DMS, DCS, Health Information Technology, Medical Office Administration, Radiologic
Technology, Surgical Technology) OR Associate in Arts or Science
MTH 101 and 165 (not required for admission but will need to be completed by graduation)

The human resource management major at Roosevelt is unique given our small class sizes,
