Earn your Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from Roosevelt University

Roosevelt’s faculty teach right here at Harper’s campus

Roosevelt’s graphic design program teaches you the skills needed to create visual concepts and to communicate ideas. While using cutting-edge software, you will study web, video, print, photography and digital animation as you prepare for success in this competitive industry. You will also learn to communicate visually and verbally by using an aesthetic perspective, developed through the study of design history and theory. Upon completion, you will be equipped with the knowledge necessary for effective visual presentation of verbal, photographic and graphic information.

• The Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design provides students with 24 semester hours of core content and nine semester hours of electives to allow you to pursue your own interests.  
• You will complete a required internship and portfolio course and will conclude your program with capstone project designed to focus on your career interests.

Admission requirements

• 2.0 GPA or higher
• Completion of one of the following associate degree options:  
  
  • Completion of Associate in Applied Science (AAS) in Graphic Arts Technology with any of these specializations:  
    
    • Graphic Design (View Graphic Design program overview and requirements) 
    • Package Design (View Package Design program overview and requirements) 
    • Print Graphics (View Print Graphics program overview and requirements) 
    • Web Design (View Web Design program overview and requirements) 

OR 

• • Completion of Associate in Arts degree, including completion of the following courses: 
    
    • GRA 103 
    • GRA 112 
    • GRA 130 
    • MCM 120
