The William Rainey Harper College Archives collects, preserves, exhibits, and provides access to materials of enduring value that document the development, growth and operation of Harper College and the activities of the diverse College community. The Archives is located in Building F, 3rd Floor, Room 359 within the Library.
The physical materials in the Harper College Archives are available to administrators, faculty, students, staff, alumni and members of the community by appointment and during the following hours:
CLOSED: Friday-Monday, and Wednesday during Summer Session.
The Archives are CLOSED from August 1, 2026- August 23, 2026 and will reopen for Fall Semester on Tuesday, August 25, 2026.

The physical archival collections are non-circulating, closed-stack research collections. These archival materials must be used on-site in the Archives reading room. The Archivist reserves the right to restrict access to records. Some archival materials are available digitally and may be accessed online.
