Banned Books Week 2025: Harper College

Celebrate your freedom to read with the Harper College Library during Banned Books Week, October 5 to 11, 2025!

Activites include:

Informative Banned Books Displays located throughout the Library.
Duck Scavenger Hunt: 10 rubber ducks are hidden throughout the Library. Students can turn in the ducks at the front desk on the main floor to redeem a prize.
Mini Banned Book Keychains: Students can visit the Make Shop to make turn their favorite Banned Book into a mini book keychain. Available all week during open hours.
Banned Book Shelf Art Kit: Celebrate your favorite Banned Books by decorating book spines on a paper book shelf. Kit includes: cardstock, decorative paper, gems, magnet strips. Available while supplies last.
