Attendees will develop a list of institutional and personal reasons behind offering a learning community program. Working in small groups, they will discuss options for "making the sale" to critical institutional support cohorts. The session as a whole will then propose specific assessment strategies for "closing the deal" for putting institutional support behind such a pedagogical innovation.
