COVID-19 Testing at Harper

Update: Testing has been moved to the Health and Recreation Center, Building M, Room M2012. Convenient parking is located in lot 1. Results may take longer than normal due to the increase in cases and demand for testing.

Free COVID testing is available five days a week:

  • 7 a.m.- 5 p.m. Monday
  • 8 a.m.- 5 p.m. Tuesday-Friday
    Hours subject to change.

Convenient location. Testing takes place in the Health and Recreation Center, Building M, Room M2012. Enter from Algonquin and park in lot 1.

Walk-ins welcome, or you can make an appointment (be sure to select MEDNOW HARPER COLLEGE location).

Your choice of test. Both nasal swab and saliva tests are available. Please note: Due to supply shortages, certain tests may be unavailable.

Fast turnaround. Nasal PCR test results typically provided in 24 to 36 hours. Saliva PCR test results provided in 24 to 48 hours. Please note: Results may take longer due to recent surge in cases and demand for testing. Results also take longer if testing on a Friday as Mednow labs are closed on weekends and holidays.

Testing is free. Proof of insurance is not required. If you have medical insurance, you will be asked to provide your insurance information; however, you will not be charged, and there are no copays. If you do not have insurance, proof is not required, and you will not be charged.

Open to all. Services are available to students, employees and community members.
