Harper College will be closed Monday, September 1, in observance of Labor Day.
Dear Students and Families,
We are thrilled to welcome you to College Now — an exciting and transformative opportunity made possible through the partnership between Districts 211, 214, 220 and Harper College. This innovative program reflects our shared commitment to expanding access to higher education and supporting students in achieving their academic and career goals.
College Now is a two-year program that begins in a student’s junior year of high school. Through a carefully designed academic pathway, students earn both their high school diploma and an Associate of Arts (AA) degree from Harper College by the end of their senior year. Participants take college-level courses in a supportive environment while remaining connected to their high school experience. Applications are submitted during the sophomore year, allowing students and families time to prepare for the academic expectations of the program.
This opportunity is ideal for motivated, academically prepared students who are ready to take on the challenge of college coursework. By completing the first two years of college during high school, students save time and money, gain valuable transferable credits, and build a strong foundation for future success.
We are honored to support your journey and excited to see all that you will accomplish through College Now. Welcome to the program!
Sincerely,
Dr. Avis Proctor
President, Harper College
