HOPE Giving Circle Women In Manufacturing
More than 50 women gathered on April 7th for the HOPE Giving Circle Women in Manufacturing
Breakfast. The event, for current and prospective members alike, focused on the vast
opportunities for women in the manufacturing industry. Keynote speaker, Teresa Beach-Shelow,
Owner and President of Superior Joining Technologies, Inc., shared her personal journey
in the manufacturing field. Other speakers at the breakfast included Dr. Mary Beth
Ottinger, Dean of Career and Technical Programs at Harper College, and Michelle Mabry,
a female student in Harper’s Advanced Manufacturing Program.
