Graduation FAQs

If you ordered graduation regalia after March 30, please contact Herff Jones at 312.316.1876. Students who placed orders before the pandemic (March 13) were not charged and will need to reorder their regalia.

There are several ways to participate in graduation 2020!

Build your graduate profile: Your graduate profile is the place you can upload a photo of yourself in cap and gown, upload a video and take a moment to reflect on your time at Harper. It’s also a place where your friends and family can come to leave you well wishes. You can build your graduation profile by logging in to your MyHarper Portal and clicking on the link in the graduation announcement.

Order your regalia and decorate your cap: Just because we’re apart doesn’t mean you shouldn’t celebrate with all the pomp and circumstance. You can order your cap and gown. Decorate your cap and share it with us at harpergrad@harpercollege.edu or tag @harpercollege on social media. Your caps may be shared online.

Watch the ceremony live: Beginning at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 16 you can watch the entire ceremony with us by visiting the graduation website. We’ll also be hosting a watch party on Facebook directly after the live streaming.

Can’t watch the ceremony live? You can also view portions of the ceremony that you’re interested in. They will be available on the graduation page beginning on Saturday, May 16.

Diplomas will be mailed home four to six weeks after grades are finalized. Keep in mind that with the new no-harm grading policy, grades will not be finalized until mid-June, so you will likely not receive your diploma until August.

Diplomas are mailed to the address on file in your student record. If you need to update your mailing address, please complete this form.

All graduate profiles and comments are moderated by Harper College staff and faculty. Profiles and comments will not show up immediately.
