Helping Others through the Power of Education

The HOPE Giving Circle brings together influential women of diverse backgrounds with a common goal of supporting women in achieving their educational goals. HOPE members combine their resources to make a greater collective impact on the lives of women pursuing higher education at Harper College.

Through scholarship support, mentoring, professional development opportunities and other means, the HOPE Giving Circle is committed to empowering women to reach their full potential through educational attainment and leadership development. The HOPE Giving Circle holds four events per year to inspire women in the community to support the program and to foster ongoing engagement with the scholarship recipients.

HOPE Audience:

  • HOPE members and audience includes female leaders in business, education, law and other prominent fields
  • Average annual donation from a HOPE member to Harper: $11,000
  • Invitations and newsletters mailed to 350 influential women approximately six times each year

HOPE Giving Circle impact since inception in 2015:

  • Six female students received scholarships
  • $60,000 awarded in scholarships
  • Three students have transferred on to 4-year institutions
  • Over $80,000 funds raised to date
  • Over 30 local female leaders contributing to date

Event Sponsorship Opportunities

  • Company logo on the HOPE Giving Circle webpage, with hyperlink to company site
  • Company logo on printed quarterly event invitations, brochures, and/or other collateral materials
  • Opportunity to have a table and/or company literature onsite at HOPE events
  • Full page ad in any printed event programs
  • Recognition in the Foundation’s bi-annual Community Catalyst magazine and the quarterly e-newsletter
  • Prominent signage at all four HOPE events throughout the year
  • Verbal acknowledgment and recognition during events
  • Recognition in any official press releases to local media outlets highlighting events
  • Exposure to prominent corporate and community leaders across the 23 communities in the Harper College district
  • Includes event participation for four women at four events per year
  • Company name listed on event invitation (if commitment received by January 7, 2019)
  • Three tickets to the symposium
  • Signage at the event identifying company as a Symposium Sponsor
  • Recognition on the webpage promoting the event
  • ½ page ad in the event program book (if commitment received by April 3, 2019)
  • Verbal acknowledgment during the event
  • Company table onsite at the event
  • Recognition in the Harper College Alumni E-newsletter (sent to more than 14,000 alumni)
  • Company logo on the HOPE Giving Circle webpage
  • Company logo on printed quarterly event invitations, brochures, and/or other collateral materials
  • Half page ad in any printed event programs
  • Recognition in the Foundation’s bi-annual Community Catalyst magazine and the quarterly e-newsletter
  • Recognition on signage at all four HOPE events throughout the year
  • Verbal acknowledgment and recognition during events
  • Recognition in any official press releases to local media outlets highlighting events
