Duane Tyler
Duane has over three decades of auditing, consulting and management experience. He rejoined RSM’s growing private equity practice in 2010. Most recently, he was asked by the Firm to build the RSM Center for Business Transition. Duane’s extensive experience providing audit and financial consulting expertise to a variety of closely held midsized companies has led to his position as a knowledgeable business advisor. Duane joined RSM in 1973 and furthered his career on the audit side of the Firm. In 1987, he was selected as the first Managing Partner of the Chicago office. His leadership assisted in growing the office from 40 to 600 professionals. Duane worked with the Harvard School of Business on the Firm’s strategic direction, concluding with the capitalization concept with H&R Block. A key architect in designing RSM’s growth strategy he left Chicago in 1999 to become Executive Vice President-Growth for the Firm where he served until 2003. He served as a Director on the McGladrey & Pullen, LLP Board from 1994 to 1998.
