In a world of constant advancement in technology and electronic strategies, engineers must have an understanding of mathematics, computer science, electrical laws, semiconductor devices and digital analog circuits, and hydraulic and pneumatic controls.
Harper College’s Electronics Engineering Technology degree and certificate programs prepare you for a career in the electronics engineering technology field. The curriculum teaches you to safely and accurately operate equipment, install energy equipment, handle materials, set up electrical wiring and codes, and understand basic electric, magnetic and electromagnetic field relationships. Graduates have found employment as engineering laboratory technicians, electricians, facilities or plant maintenance technicians, and more.
