The Harper College Board of Trustees meets twice a month; the Committee of the Whole meeting is held the second Wednesday of each month at 5 p.m. and the Board of Trustees meeting is held the third Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m., except as noted in the Board approved calendar below. All meetings take place in the Wojcik Conference Center Amphitheater, Room W‑120, at 1200 West Algonquin Road, Palatine, Illinois, unless otherwise noted.
There will be no meeting in December 2026. If a meeting becomes necessary, the Board will convene a special meeting on Wednesday, December 16, 2026.
Meeting minutes are posted after they have been reviewed and approved by the Board. Please note that no regular Board Meetings are scheduled in March or July; these months are reserved for trustee workshops. As a result, minutes from the February meeting will be posted after approval in April, and minutes from the June meeting will be posted after approval in August.
Individuals must sign in prior to the meeting start time (5:00 p.m. for Committee of the Whole or 6:00 p.m. for Board of Trustees meetings or as otherwise noted).
Each speaker will be allowed 3 minutes to share their comments.*
Upon being recognized, each speaker will step to the microphone in the aisle and state their name and the topic on which they wish to speak.
*The Board will not engage in discussion during this time and will take questions and concerns under advisement and respond as appropriate or direct the administration to follow up as necessary.
Those wishing to discuss topics further can submit written requests to the Board Chair or College President prior to the meeting for consideration. The Board will review these requests and respond as appropriate.
