Harper College will be closed Wednesday, November 27 through Sunday, December 1 for Thanksgiving Break.
Many in Harper College’s campus community are excited to see Harper Dining up and running this semester. That certainly includes Brian Gedemer, the new chef for Harper Dining by Sodexo who began his role in August.
Seeking to bring exciting culinary options to students, faculty, staff and visitors, Chef Brian has begun helming pop-up dining events on campus. The themed pop-ups, which began the first week of the semester, have so far included sizzling salads and smoothie bowls.
“Right now, what drives me is the customer interaction,” Brian said. “I get to see the joy on people’s faces when they say, ‘What I put in my mouth tastes amazing!’ It warms my heart when people come up to me and say that.”
Upcoming lunchtime pop-ups – which take place on staggered days to serve a variety of schedules – are set to offer selections from hamburgers and tacos to guacamole and ice cream sundaes. Below, find more information on Harper Dining’s scheduled pop-ups.
