The Harper College Educational Foundation raised $135,000 at its 33rd Annual Golf Outing on June 13 at the Inverness Golf Club. More than 100 golfers joined
Dr. Avis Proctor, Harper College president; foundation staff and 24 Harper volunteers
on the greens to fund student scholarships and programs.
Golfers, many of whom represented one of the outing’s 26 corporate sponsors, took a swing at special contests throughout the day to support Harper’s foundation. They participated in challenges including contest holes, Putt with Proctor and Score for Scholarships.
Thank you to the committee of volunteers who made the event possible. Their hard work over the last year made this event a success and an important fundraiser for the foundation.
