Harper College offices will be closed Monday, September 2 in observance of Labor Day.
We’ve all been watching the developing news out of Turkey and Syria following this week’s devastating earthquakes. As a campus community that is truly global, we know that many of our colleagues, students and community members are personally affected by this disaster. Even those individuals not personally affected may be feeling the stress and weight of this humanitarian crisis.
We want to remind you that now, and in any time of need, Harper has support available for faculty and staff including our Employee Assistance Program, Workplace Solutions. You can access a variety of confidential resources, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, at no cost.
Student support is available through our Counseling Services office, with counselors available for both virtual and in-person appointments.
If you would like to contribute to relief efforts, Harper College's Student Activities Board has organized Hawks for Hope: A Fundraising Effort for Turkey and Syria. The fundraiser is running from February 15 through March 1, with opportunities to donate in person and online to Project Hope, a global health and humanitarian relief organization assisting efforts in Turkey and Syria. Click here to donate or learn more about Hawks for Hope information tables on Harper's campus.
Forward together,
