Harper College

Returning students

Welcome back to Harper College

If you previously took classes at Harper College or earned Dual Credit from Harper as a high school student, let’s work together to help you re-enroll so you can continue your education and achieve your goals.

You are considered a returning student if:

  • You earned Dual Credit from Harper College when you were in high school.
  • You previously attended Harper College (part time or full time) and have been away from Harper for three full semesters.
    • If you have been away for fewer than three semesters, you can proceed to the MyHarper portal and register for classes.

Take the next step

Tips for Dual Credit students

  • Because you have already earned credit from Harper College, a transcript is not needed.
  • There is no application fee to enroll as a returning student.
  • After you complete placement requirements, you’ll be assigned an academic advisor who can work with you to plan the courses to take next.
  • Advising is required for degree-seeking students. Advising is optional for certificate-seeking students, but can be helpful to ensure that you are taking the right courses to achieve your goals.
