If you previously took classes at Harper College or earned Dual Credit from Harper
as a high school student, let’s work together to help you re-enroll so you can continue
your education and achieve your goals.
You are considered a returning student if:
You earned Dual Credit from Harper College when you were in high school.
You previously attended Harper College (part time or full time) and have been away
from Harper for three full semesters.
If you have been away for fewer than three semesters, you can proceed to the MyHarper portal and register for classes.
Select the “Student at Large” student type if you plan to take a single class or two
at Harper College.
If you plan to attend Harper College to earn a credential, please choose “Certificate-Seeking”
or “Degree-Seeking” depending on the credential you plan to pursue.
Because you have already earned credit from Harper College, a transcript is not needed.
There is no application fee to enroll as a returning student.
After you complete placement requirements, you’ll be assigned an academic advisor
who can work with you to plan the courses to take next.
Advising is required for degree-seeking students. Advising is optional for certificate-seeking
students, but can be helpful to ensure that you are taking the right courses to achieve
your goals.
