Earn your Gateways Early Childhood Education (ECE) Level II credential with this 12-credit hour program. Early Childhood Education is one of the most in-demand occupations. Employment is expected to grow at a faster-than-average rate in the coming years. This program will prepare you to provide quality care for young children in childcare settings.

  • Learn from a skilled bilingual early childhood educator.
  • Courses will be taught in Spanish and English.
  • Includes FREE Adult Education support class.
  • Tuition for this program is being paid for by the Early Childhood Access Consortium for Equity. There will be no cost for students that qualify.
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
 

AED support class will be held Tuesday, 6:30 - 8 p.m.
Credit classes will be held Thursday, 6:30 - 8 p.m.

Sample Schedule:

  • Semester One (Spring 2024): ECE 250 Health, Safety and Nutrition and ECE 102 Child Development
  • Semester Two (Summer 2024): ECE 115 Curriculum
  • Semester Three (Fall 2024): ECE 101 Introduction to ECE
