The Harper College Fast Track initiative offers adult students, aged 24 and over, the opportunity to complete an Associate of Applied Science degree or certificate by taking courses one night a week at a consistent time and location.
The Fast Track program received a Resource for Excellence Grant from the Harper College Educational Foundation for Professional Development Workshops for Fast Track Students. Using the Resources for Excellence grant funding, Fast Track offered career-focused workshops in May and June 2014 to supplement the students' degree and certificate programs in business-related areas.
Resource for Excellence Grants are supported by donations and sponsorships to Harper College Educational Foundation events. Annually, more than $100,000 in grant funding is awarded to new and innovative programs at Harper College that support college strategic priorities, including student success.
