With Finals Week soon approaching, we hope these programs will help you to de-stress
and give you a positive boost to finish the Fall semester strong. We hope to see you
there, and good luck with your finals!
Ongoing
- Thrive Kits: Sign up to receive a free Finals Week Thrive Kit! This kit is filled with fun and mindfulness-related activities, snacks, and useful
information to help you get through the end of the semester. Sign-ups are limited
and will be open until Sunday, November 27th, 2023.
- Snack Attack Ninjas: Be on the lookout for the Snack Attack Ninjas on campus as they will be handing
out free snacks to students!
- Virtual Mind and Body Sessions: Can't make it to our on-campus sessions? Check out these virtual mind and body experience options!
Monday, December 4
- Guided Flow Yoga, 12:15 – 1:10 pm at the Health and Recreation Center (M-1010): Precise dynamic poses are sequenced together to create a moving meditation that helps
to calm the mind, increase flexibility, and build strength. This class is fully guided.

Wednesday, December 6
- Refueling Station, 9:30am – 1:00pm at the Building D Rotunda: Stop by for a quick study break to grab a snack and some coffee! Refueling your body
while studying can help improve concentration and ability to retain information. Pick up a grab-and-go snack for all of your studying needs.
- Therapy Dogs, 1:00 – 3:00pm in Counseling Services (D-204): Stop by to de-stress with therapy dogs!
- Cocoa and Cram, 1:30 – 6:00pm at the Cultural Center (D-281): Stop by for snacks and studies. Cocoa, cookies, and snacks for students to drop in and
go or stay and study in the center.
Thursday, December 7
- Lunch N’ Learn: Everything You Need to Know About Stress and How You Can Finally Relax, 12:00pm – 1:00pm at the Health and Recreation Center (Building M): Are the winter months, holidays, or upcoming finals causing you stress? Join Harper
Wellness for a Lunch N' Learn to learn about best practices for managing stress. During this
interactive, informative, and relaxing one-hour session, participants will learn about
the numerous causes of stress in their lives, the negative effects long-term stress has on their
bodies, minds, and emotions, and methods to control how they respond to difficult situations. Registration is required.
Friday, December 8
- Healthy Back Yoga, 12:00 – 12:55 pm at the Health and Recreation Center (M-1010): Healthy Back Yoga helps reduce stress through safe postural poses and core strengthening
techniques. Students are encouraged to stay within their individual limitations by
progressing gradually through the various levels of the poses. Props are often used
to help support and adapt the poses for everybody. (All Levels)
Monday, December 11

- Therapy Dogs, 1:00 – 3:00pm at the 1st floor of Building F: Stop by to de-stress with therapy
dogs! Hot chocolate will be provided.
Wednesday, December 13
- Yin Yoga, 12:00 – 12:55 pm at the Health and Recreation Center (M-1010): Passive poses are held longer to target the deepest tissues and the connective tissue
allowing the muscles to relax. This class is fully guided. (All Levels)
