Ms. Chang earned her Masters of Music at the University of Illinois at Urbana in piano performance and also holds a Bachelor of Arts in music in piano performance from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She received the Chicago Bar Association Award scholarship for piano in 2000 and 2001. While at the University of Illinois she studied applied piano with Dr. William Heiles, piano pedagogy with Dr. Reid Alexander and chamber coaching with Laurien Laufman and Masumi Rostad of the Pacifica Quartet. At the University of Illinois, Ms. Chang was a also a piano instructor for the Piano Laboratory Program where she taught individual piano instruction and preparatory group theory to children.
Ms. Chang enjoys working with students of all ages and has been teaching individual piano lessons in the Northwest Chicago area since 1998.
