Pickleball at Harper College

Pickleball is currently available during open recreation and scheduled recreation times and is free to members. Non-members may purchase a single entry pass to participate in open recreation. All open recreation activities are held at the Health and Recreation Center (Building M) in the four court fieldhouse and are open to anyone eighteen years or older with a valid I.D.

Open Recreation (Drop-In)

Casual, first-come, first-served play. Nets are set during designated open times. Rotate games to keep play moving and match by skill when possible.
Who it’s for: All skill levels, students, members, and day-pass guests.
Bring: Harper ID/Rec Center Membership Card, paddle (limited loaners available), non-marking shoes.

Scheduled Recreation (Organized Rotations)

Scheduled sessions with structured rotations to maximize play time. Great for meeting partners, balanced matches, and consistent game flow.
Who it’s for: Players who want predictable games and organized court assignments.

Pickleball Leagues (Starting November)

Format: Ladder-style doubles (Men’s & Women’s), 6-week regular season + playoff week. Court assignment each week is based on results from the previous week; points scored and point differential are used for tiebreakers.
Skill level: Intermediate (more divisions may be added as interest grows).
Commitment: One match night per week; please plan to attend all weeks.
Prizes: Division winners + sportsmanship award; all-league participants recognized.
Registration: Opens in October; limited spots per division.
Cost: TBA (membership/day-pass rules still apply).

Note: Must be 18 years or older to participate with a valid I.D.
