Nursing

Get hands on experience in nursing

The Harper College nursing program prepares students to provide quality care for clients across their lifespans in a variety of health care settings.

Harper offers degree and certificate programs for students seeking immediate employment in nursing, as well as an RN-to-BSN completion program for those who plan to transfer to a four-year university.

Harper is home to a state-of-the-art nursing laboratory, where real-world procedures and situations are simulated and practiced.

Prepare for a health profession

The Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree is designed to prepare you for immediate entry into this profession. Coursework in the AAS may also prepare you to transfer to a four-year college or university. This is a limited-enrollment program.

The RN program is approved by the Illinois State Board of Nursing and is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).

Earn a professional certificate

Prepare for a career in health care through a certificate program. Many of Harper's certificates are stackable to a degree program through additional coursework.
