The Health and Recreation Center (Building M)

Membership to the Health and Recreation Center is available to Harper students, employees, and the surrounding community. The Health and Recreation Center is a new state-of-the-art 135,000 square foot facility and is managed by the Department of Campus Recreation.

Summer Hours Begin Monday, May, 22:

Monday thru Thursday: 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Friday: 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Saturday: 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Sunday: 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Facility Maintenance and Closures: 

• Entire fieldhouse closed from Monday, May 22 to Tuesday, May 30 
• Court A in the fieldhouse will be closed from Tuesday, May 30 through Sunday, June 18 for maintenance 
• The pool will be closed from Monday, August 7 through Monday, September 4 for preventative maintenance and cleaning
• The facility will be closed from Friday, August 11 through Sunday, August 13 for annual maintenance and cleaning

Memorial Day: Closed 
Monday, July 3: 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Independence Day: Closed
Friday August 11 to Sunday, August 13: Closed for Annual Cleaning
Labor Day: Closed
Thanksgiving Day: Closed
Friday after Thanksgiving: 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Saturday after Thanksgiving: 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Sunday after Thanksgiving: 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Christmas Eve: 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Christmas Day: Closed
Monday after Christmas: 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
New Year's Eve: 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
New Year’s Day: Closed
