Scholarships and Grants

Some CPE courses may be eligible for grants and scholarships on a limited basis. We encourage you to apply for funding to learn more about options that may be available to you.

To apply to the Paths and College and Careers (Paths) grant program, please visit www.harpercollege.edu/paths. This grant is for those who require additional suppports in communications, math, digital literacy, and professional skills and who may be unemployed or underemployed. Email paths@harpercollege.edu for questions. 

To apply for the Noncredit Strategies at Work (NSAW) grant, visit the NSAW Grant page, and click on the NSAW Scholarship Form to apply. This grant is for those who are 18 and over who are underserved, unemployed or underemployed, or a small business owner or employee looking to develop job-specific skills. If you have questions about the NSAW scholarship or need assistance with the application, please contact us at mv27855@harpercollege.edu.

WIOA-Approved Programs

Harper College is an approved provider of WIOA-certified grant funded programs for unemployed or underemployed people who need additional training, career-focused certificates leading to college or industry-recognized credentials needed to re-enter the workforce.

Individuals who are unemployed, meet federal low income guidelines, work in a declining industry or occupation, are part of a mass layoff, or qualify as a displaced homemaker, may qualify for WIOA grant funding to pay for State-approved programs. For more information, see:
