Updated 8/11/2020: Fall 2020 courses converted to online modality solely due to COVID-19 may be certified as resident courses. Students enrolled in these courses will continue to receive the MHA rate for resident training. Courses that already exist in an online modality prior to COVID-19 legislation will be certified as distance learning.

Updated 3/26/2020: Great news! Congress passed new legislation for Gi Bill benefits due to COVID-19 that will preserve housing benefits despite Harper College’s move to flexible/distance learning. Visit the U.S. Department of Veterans websites regularly to stay up to date. In addition to education benefits, the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs is making great strides to provide Veterans with various forms of assistance.

Many offices have designated Veteran Services Representatives who are trained in the specific needs of veteran students.
